So how's the real estate market Larry?

Posted by Larry Jensen on Friday, July 9th, 2010 at 9:13pm.

Its been a very busy week especially for a holiday week. Buyers are Buying and Sellers are selling. I try not to conduct business on holidays, but it was difficult this July 4th as a back accepts an offer on a Saturday night. Yep, even the bankers are working round the clock these days.

Though I attempted to go on vacation Thursday, I quickly had to change my plans and postpone that date as I had one buyer get an Accepted Offer, A seller decided to list their home that day and another buyer decided it was time to submit an offer on a property they had previously seen. So Thursday quickly became Friday and even then I barely got out the door in time.

Negotiations continued right through the weekend including July 4th. I marked the end of vacation Monday with two new listings and three accepted offers. I marked the end of the week just a few minutes ago with yet another listing and another rental property placed under our management program.

So if you want to ask me; How's the Real Estate Market Larry? I can only speak from experience. My agents are buys, I am swamped and there does not seem to be an end in sight. Does this mean that the market is improving? Depends on what your definition of improving is. If you mean that we are experiencing more sales...YES. If you mean that home prices are rebounding...NO.

So why are we so busy? Well again, I can only speak for myself and my agents. Being honest, Professional and Full Time goes a long way to creating a successful business. I mean, we are handling one of the most valuable assets a person owns. Should they be trusting that to a person that only dabbles in real estate? I do not know about you, but I would not want a part time contractor building my house or a part time accountant managing my money. I certainly would not want a part time real estate agent taking care of my house and don't even get me started with real estate agents that dabble in property management. That just has lawsuit written all over it.

So if you want to now in general how the real estate market is, I can tell you that here at St. Lawrence Properties..we are B U S Y! But I have a feeling that what you really want to know is "How's the Market for Selling My House Larry?" and to answer that either I or one of my Full Time agents would need to provide you with a Home Valuation Study that will look at precisely that.

In the mean time, stop listening to what you hear on TV, the Radio and the Internet as fact as most of it never applies to Your Local Market. Instead, ask us for a free Home Valuation Study and learn from cold hard facts.

And if you are an agent that seems to have too much time on your hands, maybe its not time you are holding, but wasted opportunity. Let me show you how to turn your business right side up and begin making a living doing what you love.
